Online election of national convention delegates from Congressional Districts (“Congressional District caucuses”)

May 18

Who Can Participate

The state convention delegates who were elected at the Legislative District caucuses on April 6.

What They Do

Choose which Democratic candidate to endorse for Congress in their district, and elect 60 delegates to the Democratic National Convention from among the candidates who self-nominated by May 12.

Each of Washington’s ten Congressional Districts will elect a number of national convention delegates that is proportional to the relative Democratic performance of that district, as determined based on voter turnout in recent elections. The “reddest” congressional district will elect three delegates, the “bluest” district will elect ten, and the other districts will elect five, six, or seven.

How to Participate

The URL and credentials for voting in this online election will be provided to the state convention delegates elected on April 6.
