The state delegates from each legislative district may propose up to two resolutions for consideration at the State Convention, and may propose any number of amendments to the convention rules. Proposed resolutions or rules amendments must be approved by a majority of the LD’s delegation at a delegation meeting, and a proposal may not be divisible (i.e., it can’t contain two or more proposals that could be separated and voted upon independently). The delegation must also provide a written explanation of why a proposed rules amendment is necessary, and must provide contact information for an individual who can speak on behalf of each proposed resolution or amendment.
If an LD delegation has proposed resolutions or rules amendments, their proposals must be submitted by the delegation’s chair to the State Party by Friday, May 4, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. PDT.
